Telegram bypassed Iran’s new filtering

Since yesterday, it has been impossible for Iranian users to receive Telegram activation SMS. But now Telegram bypasses Iran’s new filtering and sends the activation code to users in another way.

Yesterday, we had in the news that mobile phone operators have blocked Telegram activation SMS in Iran. In this way, if you want to log in to your account, Telegram will not send the SMS containing the activation code to the user. It is still not clear what is the reason for applying this restriction and new filtering, and the Ministry of Communications and mobile phone operators have not had a specific reaction to this incident.

Bypassing Iran’s new filtering with voice calls and numbers from other countries

But now it seems that Telegram has bypassed Iran’s new filtering system and has provided another solution for Iranian users to enter this popular messaging application. In this regard, one of the journalists named Saeed Pirzadeh said that previously, to log into the Telegram user account, the activation code was sent to the user via SMS, and if not received, the voice call option was available. Now you can also receive this activation code by voice call.

In fact, currently, in order to send the activation code to Iranian users, Telegram makes a voice call at the very beginning, and this call is also made with the prefix of different countries, so that it is possible to bypass Iran’s new filtering. Also, Telegram sends an activation SMS with the number of other countries.

Therefore, apparently, Telegram soon noticed the blocking of text messages for Iranian users and has adopted a new method to bypass this problem so that users in our country do not have a problem logging into their user account. Now it has to be seen whether the Ministry of Communications and mobile phone operators will think of a solution to block other Telegram methods to send the activation code to users or if they cannot deal with this method.
