According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by the official Qatar News Agency, the President of the Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, in a conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, thanked him for the proper organization of the 2022 World Cup.

The Amiri Court of Qatar issued a statement last evening announcing the phone call of the President of Iran with the Emir of Qatar.

Therefore, according to the report, in this telephone conversation, the President of Iran congratulated the Emir of Qatar for the proper holding of the 2022 World Cup and wished him success in the future.

Also, in this telephone conversation, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and emphasized the need for the growth and development of these relations in all fields.

The Amiri Court of Qatar has also announced that the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest.
