Leontief told Sputnik that the Ukrainian attack on Nova Kakhovka killed several people and injured dozens more, destroying “literally” hundreds of residential apartments.

He explained: “According to the initial information, these were high precision American Himars missiles. “They were deliberately shot at the center of the peaceful city of Novaya Kakhovka.”

This military official also added: “We are still receiving the injured from the area, ambulances are working continuously, we will know the number of victims by the middle of tomorrow.” Dozens injured, hundreds of apartments, hundreds of people literally destroyed.
