The 11th National Painting Biennial of Iran will be opened

According to Fars news agency, the opening ceremony of the 11th National Biennial of Iranian Painting will be held on Saturday evening, March 13, from 17:00 at the Art Academy, Saba’s Art Cultural Institute.

In this period, 221 works of 152 artists will be exhibited, based on this, 77 works from 55 artists in the gilding trend, 23 works from 12 artists in the painting design trend, 63 works from 43 artists in the flower and bird trend, and Painting trend, 58 works of 40 artists will be on the wall. Also, 31 works of guest artists will be exhibited.

The 11th National Painting Biennial of Iran is organized by the Visual Arts Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in cooperation with the Contemporary Visual Arts Development Institute, universities and the art community in order to develop and elevate the status of painting in contemporary Iran, to create a suitable environment for the growth and flourishing of painting in accordance with its preservation and continuity. The fundamental principles of this art and support for talented artists in this field are held in painting trends, flowers and birds, gilding and painting design.

It should be mentioned that the 11th biennial exhibition of Iranian painting will be open until April 20, 1402.
