The 15th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 10 in Baku


According to Fars News Agency’s Foreign Policy Group, Mehdi Safari, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, on the eve of the 15th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission with the Republic of Azerbaijan, to be held in Baku on March 10 and 11, 1400, once again took a multifaceted approach to diplomacy. Emphasizing the importance of the position of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he expressed satisfaction with the results of efforts to re-establish direct flights between Tehran and Baku and said: Up to two countries in the light of understandings and agreements in various fields, including transit, transportation, rail, road, sea and air, trade in goods and technical and engineering services, tourism, provincial cooperation, agriculture and many other fields. To open a new chapter in the economic relations between the two countries.

The Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy also noted that several construction projects have been undertaken in the country, and expressed hope that Iranian companies with excellent capabilities in this field will be able to participate in the implementation of more projects.
