The 2,500-hectare site of the Persian Gulf Special Zone is ready to receive investors, and about 30% of this site has been activated by investors.

According to the Hormozgan Wave News Agency, the presence of industrial, mining and petrochemical units in the special area, access to open waters and the national railway, as well as the proximity to Shahid Rajaei port, allow investors to enjoy the most facilities and benefits.
To date, more than 19 active companies are active in the Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone, including Al-Mahdi Aluminum, Hormozal, Foolad-e-Ramzgan and Foolad-e-Kaveh-e-Junub, most of which are operating beyond their nominal capacity.
The Special Zone has already contracted 44 new projects worth $ 6 billion, and in 1399, 9 projects worth $ 3.2 billion, and in 1400, 24 projects worth $ 3 billion are being invested.
We have signed a contract for a 10 million ton steel project with a large consortium of steel companies in 1999. In this project, Mobarakeh Steel, Golgohar Mineral and Industrial Steel and small companies under the auspices of Imidro have established Setareh Simin Company to complete the project on time.

Persian Gulf Special Zone It has one of the largest ports for unloading and loading bulk mineral materials (up to 120 thousand tons), which provides the necessary services to various companies in the field of export and import.
The construction of the first and second phases of the special zone, the project of collecting the surface waters of the region, localization in the docks and return wagons, as well as the use of young and indigenous forces are other achievements of the special economic zone of the Persian Gulf.
In 1401, a total of three thousand and 500 billion tomans of credit approval was received from Imidro for the construction of infrastructure, during which the infrastructure projects will be implemented in order.
In 1401, the issue of new technologies and knowledge-based production was also targeted, during which it was decided to establish a center of new technologies and knowledge-based with the participation of industries and Hormozgan University.
The launch of a five-star hotel in a special area for the welfare of investors and the discussion of organizing the wastewater of Bandar Abbas in line with social responsibilities are other programs.
In this project, the wastewater of Bandar Abbas will be converted into industrial water with the cooperation of large industrial and mining companies, and according to the initial forecast, 65,000 cubic meters of wastewater will be converted into industrial water, which can be expanded up to 80,000 cubic meters.
