The 7th national theater festival of self-sacrifice has started in Ardakan, Yazd province


According to the Fars news agency’s theater reporter, Mohammad Larti, the head of the performing arts department of the Shahid Country Foundation, stated that artists from 15 provinces from all over the country are present in this festival, adding: This festival will be held in stage and street sections. 13 works in the stage section and 18 works in the street section will be staged in this art event.

He added: This festival is held with the aim of promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom and the lifestyle of martyrs, and most of the productions are related to the biographies of martyrs and another part of the works is dedicated to martyrs. The artists who are present in this festival are among the educated artists of the country who sent their works to the secretariat in the form of professional shows.

The head of the Performing Arts Department of the Martyrs and Sacrifices Foundation explained: 270 works were sent to the festival secretariat, of which 120 works were reviewed and after several stages of review, the works were finalized and will be exhibited in this festival. “Rainy Nights”, “Ismail”, “Del Lareza”, “Mother”, “Alireza”, “Nazar Abbas”, “Misho Suzuki”, “The Heir”, “Flight of Burned Wings”, “Narratives from Eight Years of Womanhood”, “Majlis Simukhani” Ghorbani”, “Narratives of Zara” and “Love in a train that didn’t end” are the works that we will witness in the stage section.

Larti mentioned: “Kuch”, “Soldier”, “Hard Road”, “Jwal”, “Name”, “Sixties”, “Postman”, “Lullabies of No No Iran”, “Tawaf Khoon”, “Report of a Coffin” “, “Hanas”, “Jamande”, “Mostatil Sabz”, “Naqal Dar Marakeh”, “Back from the soil”, “With the people” and “Malek Ashtar” are some of the works that are staged in the street section.

At the end of his speech, he said: The works will be staged in the stage section of the Khatami Conservatory, Irshad Art Hall, Farhang Hall, Kavousi Cultural Complex and Helal Hamar hall.

The closing of this festival will be held at 15:00 on the 29th of December in the conference hall of Shahid Beheshti School.
