But now this company has unveiled a new feature that is exclusive to iPhone users and is not going to come to Android anytime soon!

This company has released a new update as a test with version number 2.23.9.70 for TestFlight Beta Progra users. An update that can convert voice to text with full name Voice Message Transcription provides WhatsApp application testers.

Ability to convert voice to text in WhatsApp

This voice message transcription can convert voice messages into text messages; So the receiver of the message can read it on the screen of his phone instead of listening to the message. This feature is suitable for users who are not in a position to play an audio file. Thanks to the ability to convert voice to text, communication through WhatsApp will be more flexible and better than before.

This feature is currently available to users who have installed it on their iPhone through Apple’s TestFlight application. Of course, the trial version is not available for all users at the moment, but more users will be able to test it soon.

How does the ability to convert voice to WhatsApp text work?

When the user activates this option, a bubble will appear under his voice messages. By touching it, he can ask the system to write a voice message for him in text form on the screen. Users who have updated the application can use this feature by default. But if you don’t want to use it, you can enter the WhatsApp application, go to Settings > Chats > Voice Message Transcript and disable this option.

WhatsApp says this feature is end-to-end encrypted. This means that information and voice messages will not be stored anywhere except the user’s own phone. Also, different language packs for this feature will be released soon to make sure your language is supported.
