The active presence of handicraft artists in the first rural and nomadic festival of Qazvin



According to the Arya Heritage Report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Qazvin Province, Seyyed Maitham Hissari announced this news and said: In this festival, which aims to introduce the capacities and capabilities of the rural and nomadic areas of the province in the fields of handicrafts, tourism, food production and agriculture, together with Introduction of local customs, games and music were held, artisans from rural areas exhibited their products in more than 25 stalls.

The deputy of handicrafts and traditional arts of Qazvin added: Andaj carpet (National village of Alamut carpet) and Ardagh carpet of Boyinzahra, as well as other products of artists in different fields of hand-embroidered leather, traditional embroidery, mosaic, inlaid, pottery, etc., in addition to souvenirs and agricultural products of rural areas. Qazvin, Auj and Abgarm, Takestan, Boyinzahra, Alborz and western and eastern Alamut regions are introduced in this exhibition.

Hesari said: The nomadic tribes of the province are also present in this festival by setting up black tents, their abilities and production, food, livestock and agricultural products and they have presented their abilities in different sectors.

Performance of native and local games, traditional music, introduction of historical monuments and tourist attractions along with local performances of ethnic groups are among the happy and side programs of Qazvin Rural and Nomadic Festival.

Qazvin Rural and Nomadic Festival will host visitors until Friday, 22 April 1402 from 15:00 to 21:00 at Qazvin International Exhibitions.
