The American response to Iran’s proposals was “reasonable” – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, “Joseph Burrell”, the European Union’s top foreign policy official, announced on Thursday that the nuclear agreement is progressing and that the US response to Iran’s comments in the sanctions lifting talks is “reasonable”.

He also added: The success of the nuclear agreement with Iran means that more oil will enter the market.

On Wednesday evening, Ned Price, the spokesman of the US State Department, announced: Washington has completed the review of Iran’s proposals regarding the draft nuclear agreement and sent it to the European Union.

Before that, Nasser Kanani, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country, had announced that “Tehran received the response of the American government to the opinions of the Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve the remaining issues in the sanctions lifting negotiations, through the European coordinator of the talks on Wednesday evening.”

According to Kanaani, “a detailed review of the American side’s comments has begun, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will announce its views in this regard to the coordinator after completing the reviews.”

On August 24, Iran sent its opinions, suggestions and considerations about the text proposed by the European Union as the final text of the agreement to the JCPOA parties. Joseph Burrell considered Iran’s comments and response to the European Union’s proposal reasonable and logical.
