The Americans will return the Achaemenid tablets this year

According to Moj news agency, out of 17,000 pieces of Achaemenid tablets that were still in the hands of the Chicago Institute of Oriental Studies, 3506 tablets were returned to Iran. Now the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said that the fate of the remaining Achaemenid tablets in America will be determined this year. He announced the visit of Iran’s cultural heritage experts to America in November and said that the return of the remaining Achaemenid tablets has been determined.
Speaking on a radio program, Ezzatullah Zarghami, referring to two important events that happened to Iran’s cultural heritage, i.e. the registration of 54 caravanserais in the form of a file in UNESCO and the return of 3506 Achaemenid tablets to Iran, said: Regarding the first event, this point It is important that 54 caravanserais have been registered globally, which is rare in the world.
He reminded: These 54 caravanserais are geographically and chronologically important and include 24 provinces from the Sassanid period to the Qajar period.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts also said about the return of the Achaemenid tablets: the original of these tablets were 30,000 pieces that were discovered in 1311 at the same time as Pahlavi and were sent to the Oriental Institute of Chicago for decoding and study. These boards are a collection of administrative, economic, social and road documents; That is, 2,500 years ago, the Iranian worker had a pay slip. Those who claim civilization and implement the worst human rights practices in the world today and seek to destroy our identity, it is good to know these facts. That is when today’s human rights claimants used their slaves for materials and killed them and raised their buildings.
Zarghami continued: All these documents were discovered at once and it was supposed that these tablets would be returned to Iran after study, but this did not happen until Iran’s legal pursuits yielded results, and fortunately we are witnessing the return of these tablets.
He reminded: In the previous periods and in the previous governments, the return of tablets was pursued and it was fruitful, but this shipment is the largest and most important shipment of Achaemenid tablets that has returned to Iran. It had been delayed for four years and they were looking for serious disruptions in the field of sanctions, but finally, with the follow-up of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the legal department of the presidential institution, and most importantly, the president himself, these tablets returned to Iran.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts also said about the process of returning the rest of the tablets: the ground has been created for the return of the rest of the tablets, and according to the agreement made by the Americans, our experts are supposed to go to this country and verify the rest of the tablets and after that slowly The remaining plates will be returned to Iran.
Zarghami stated that the returned tablets have been transferred to the safe storage of the National Museum of Iran, and added: According to the plans, we are looking for a part of these tablets to be exposed to the public.
He also mentioned the World Tourism Day and Week and said: We have many plans for the tourism sector, for example, 180 hotels and accommodation centers will be put into operation at the same time as the World Tourism Day arrives.
He added: One of the challenges in the field of inbound tourism is the issue of canceling visas with different countries, which was implemented with Russia.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts also pointed out the importance of organizing sanitary services and said: I am following this issue seriously, personally. Sometimes some friends even tell me that it is better for you as a minister not to talk too much about this issue, but there is nothing wrong with serving the people.
