According to Tejarat News, this morning the government spokesperson announced the approval of the Cabinet to the proposal to increase rural housing renovation facilities.

Ali Bahadri Jahormi added: Last year, the amount of this facility was 200 million Tomans, and according to today’s resolution, this amount and the number of facilities will also increase, the details will be announced after notification.

Follow-ups indicate that rural housing loans have increased to 350 million tomans. Probably, one of the reasons for the proposal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development to increase the ceiling of the mentioned facilities was the growth in the price of construction materials, especially the main construction materials.

These materials are currently offered through the commodity exchange, an action that according to experts, experts and activists of the housing market has increased the cost of housing construction in the country.

Before this, the rural housing loan was 200 million tomans with an interest rate of 5% and a repayment period of 20 years.
