Point inflation rate means the percentage change of the price index compared to the same month of the previous year. The spot inflation rate in November 1401 has reached 48.1 percent; It means that the country’s households have spent an average of 48.1% more than in November 1400 to buy the same set of goods and services.

The spot inflation rate of November 1401 has decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous month. The spot inflation rate of the main group “food, beverages and tobacco” has reached 67.7% with a decrease of 3.0 percentage points, and the “non-food goods and services” group has reached 36.9% with an increase of 0.8 percentage points.

Meanwhile, the point inflation rate for urban households is 47.3 percent, which has decreased by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month. Also, this rate for rural households is 52.3%, which has decreased by 0.9 percentage points compared to the previous month.

The monthly inflation rate means the percentage change of the price index compared to the previous month. The monthly inflation rate of November 1401 has reached 2.1%, which has decreased by 0.9 percentage points compared to the same information in the previous month. The monthly inflation for the major groups of “food, beverages and tobacco” and “non-food goods and services” was 1.3% and 2.7%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the monthly inflation rate for urban and rural households is 2.1%, which has decreased by 1.1% for urban households and increased by 0.1% for rural households.

The annual inflation rate means the percentage change in the average number of the price index in a year ending with the current month, compared to the same period before that. The annual inflation rate of November 1401 for the country’s households has reached 44.0%, which shows an increase of 1.1 percentage points compared to the same information in the previous month.

Also, the annual inflation rate for urban and rural households is 43.3% and 47.4%, respectively, which has increased by 1.0 percentage points for urban households and 1.2 percentage points for rural households.

Price changes this month

In the main group of “foods, beverages and tobacco”, the biggest price increase compared to the previous month is related to the group of “fruits and dried fruits” and the group of “vegetables” (tomatoes and onions). In the main group of “non-food goods and services”, the group of “health and treatment” (types of drugs) and rent have the highest price increase compared to the previous month.

Also, in this month, the “oils and fats” group (solid vegetable oil and liquid oil) has decreased in price compared to the previous month.
