He announced the presence and stay of 23 foreign travelers in Gilan and added: these foreign travelers traveled to Gilan province from Azerbaijan, Russia, Portugal, Turkey and Uzbekistan in the last week.

Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Gilan, referring to the share of job creation in the tourism sector, said: About 19 percent of job creation has been realized with the presence of travelers and tourists to Gilan from the bed of fixed accommodation facilities under the cover of this General Department.

Emphasizing the monitoring of tourist and accommodation facilities in Gilan, Jahani added: 34 visits to tourist and accommodation places were made, of which 21 were worthy of encouragement and 13 received warnings.

He continued: In the last week, about 3,200 people visited the museums, historical monuments and tourist attractions of Gilan.
