The arrival of a new precipitation system from the west of the country
According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian stated: According to the analysis of the latest forecast maps, in the next 24 hours, the precipitation system will be active in the eastern strip, east of the Caspian Sea coast, south and some areas of Central Alborz in Alborz, Tehran and Mazandaran.
He added: Rainfall intensity occurs in Fars, Kerman, Hormozgan, south of Bushehr and Sistan and Baluchestan and on Wednesday (January 19) in most parts of the country, the sky is clear with cold weather.
The head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks continued: In Sistan and Baluchestan and east of Hormozgan, clouds and scattered rain are not far from expectation. On Thursday (December 20), a precipitation system will enter the country from the west and northwest and will gradually be extended to the shores of the Caspian Sea.
While stating that cloudy and scattered snowfall is expected in the southern slopes of Alborz located in Qazvin, Alborz and Tehran, he said: Rainfall will be intense in western Mazandaran, eastern Gilan, western Kurdistan and Kermanshah and southern western Azerbaijan.
According to Ziaeian, heavy rain is falling in eastern Mazandaran and Golestan on Friday (February 22nd) and snow is falling in North Khorasan and Khorasan Razavi. From Saturday (February 23) to the last days of the week, cold weather is forecast for most parts of the country, especially in the northern half of the country.
According to him, the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea are rough on Tuesday (December 19th).
The head of the National Center for Weather Risk Prediction and Management stated about the weather in Tehran over the next two days: The sky in Tehran tomorrow (January 19) will be clear to partly cloudy and sometimes windy with a minimum temperature of 1- and a maximum temperature of 8 degrees Celsius during Thursday (January 20). Partly cloudy, sometimes strong winds and from the afternoon cloudy and rainy and sometimes snowy with a minimum temperature of zero and a maximum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius is forecast.
In the end, Ziaeian said: Today and tomorrow (December 28 and 29), Bandar Abbas with the temperature of 20 and 22 degrees Celsius and Tabriz with the temperature of -5 and -4 degrees Celsius are the coldest provincial centers of the country.
