The arrival of foreign tourists to Kurdistan increased by 63%

The Governor of Kurdistan also announced a 95% increase in the number of Nowruz travelers and tourists staying in accommodation centers compared to the same period last year in the province and added: According to the official statistics of the Secretariat of the Executive Staff of Travel Services, in this period of time, there are 106,197 people in the centers. have had permanent and temporary residence in the province, which shows a 95% growth compared to Nowruz 1401.
He said: During the same period, more than 484,211 people visited the tourist attractions of the province, which shows a 115% increase in visitors compared to the same period last year.
Zarei Kosha stated that until yesterday we saw a 7% increase in traffic compared to last year in all the roads of the province, and said: From March 25 to the end of April 3, 300,740 road traffic (vehicles) were recorded in the transportation roads of the province.
The head of Kurdistan province’s travel services coordination headquarters said: Currently, very good conditions are available in Kurdistan for serving guests and tourists, and the good reception and visit of Nowruz tourists to historical and natural attractions shows stable security in the province.
Pointing out that with the cooperation of the travel services of the province, all facilities have been used to serve Nowruz travelers and tourists. There are programs that are being held with the efforts of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan and continue until the end of the holiday in two shifts, morning and afternoon.
