He added: On Thursday (February 11), with the arrival of the rain system from the west of the country in areas of the northwest, west and the heights of the western Alborz, snow and rain and temporary strong winds will occur. It will rain heavily in the western strip of West Azerbaijan and Kurdistan. In the afternoon in the southwest, strong winds with dust rising are not far from expectation.
The head of the National Center for Prediction and Crisis Management of Weather Risks continued: Friday (February 13), in addition to the northwest and west of the country, the rainfall area will include areas of the southwest and southern slopes of Alborz located in Qazvin, Alborz and Tehran. With the northward currents on the Caspian Sea, cloudiness and rain begin in Gilan and Mazandaran.
According to Ziaeian, on Saturday (February 14), cloudiness and rainfall in the northwest and southern slopes of Alborz in Qazvin, Alborz and Tehran will gradually decrease, and the system will operate in the west, southwest, northern half of Fars, Bushehr and Kerman provinces, Isfahan, Yazd. He added: On Sunday and Monday (February 15 and 15) in the center, east and southeast of the country, strong winds and a temporary decrease in temperature of about 7 to 9 degrees Celsius and in some places dust storms are forecast.
According to Ziaian, the Persian Gulf will be rough in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday (February 12 and 14) and the Sea of Oman will be rough on Sunday and Monday (February 14 and 15).
