The beginning of the plan to levy 60% tax on housing transactions before summer – Tejaratnews

According to Tejarat News, the head of the housing economics office of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development said regarding the details of the two-urgent tax bill on frequent housing transactions: if a person buys a property and sells it within a year, he will be subject to 60% tax.
According to Nowrozi, 60% tax is charged on the difference between the profit of buying and selling housing.

Nowrozi added: This is the difference of 40% in the second year, 20% in the third year, 10% in the fourth year and 5% in the fifth year.
The head of the housing economics office of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development said: This tax is for people who enter the housing market in the short term and cause disruptions in this market.
According to Nowrozi, this tax does not include newly built properties and ordinary people, and its purpose is to remove dealers from the real estate market.
Nowrozi added: This plan will be sent to the parliament this week and will be implemented before summer.
