The best of the Far East Festival were announced


The film “Miracle: Letters to the President” directed by Lee Jang-Hoon won the award for best film of the Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy, on Saturday, April 30, following a poll by the festival’s viewers.

The South Korean film was described by festival officials as a “lovely anthem in praise of the power of dreams.”

The second and third best films, respectively, went to the Chinese films “Back to the Dust” by Lee Ruyijun and “Cold to Kill” by Jing Wenjung, respectively.

The festival jury also awarded the festival’s best first film award, the festival’s White Berry Award, to “Cold to Kill.”

Jojo Hideo also won the BlackBerry Award for Best Screenplay for “Love Anyway.”

After a completely online course in 2020 and a combined event in 2021, the Udine Festival in 2022 was largely a typical attendance event in the style of previous years and was able to host more than 40,000 spectators.

Takeshi Kitano (Kitano Takeshi) Famous Japanese actor and director also received the Golden Berry Award for Lifetime Achievement at the festival.
