“The Big Game” started in the Qashqai Hall of the Shahr Theater



The performance of the play “Big Game” directed by Zohra Behrouzinia began with honoring Mehrnoosh Shariati, the late puppet theater artist of our country, in the Qashqai Hall of the Shahr Theater Complex.

Charso Press: The public performance of the show “Big Game” directed by Zohra Behrouzinia started with honoring Mehrnoosh Shariati, the late puppet theater artist who passed away a while ago due to corona virus, in the Qashqai Hall of the Shahr Theater Complex.

After this performance, the director of the show, Zohra Behrouzinia, while thanking the audience who chose to watch the show on the first day, mentioned Mehrnoosh Shariati, the director, actor, and voice actor of the puppet show, and said: “A very important and strange night for every member of our group.” I want to dedicate tonight’s performance to the person who was present in all my work and always helped me. Mehrnoosh Shariati, an artist whom we unfortunately lost a while ago.

He added: Even if Mehrnoosh Shariati was not fully present in the work, he supported me somehow. In fact, the show “Bazi Bozor” is the first performance that Mehrnoosh is not among us. Peace be upon him.

Behzad Abdi, a number of members of the Puppet Association board, Bahram Behbahani, a puppet artist and wife of Mehrnoosh Shariati, and a number of other artists, were the special guests of the first performance of the “Big Game” show.

The show “Bazi Bozor” written and directed by Zohra Behrouzinia is staged every night at 20:15 in the Qashqai Hall of the City Theater Complex.

In this play, which is a story of the lives of several imprisoned women who are trying to get out of prison, Atiye Javid, Fatima Sarlak, Maryam Sarmedi, Maryam Moini, Behnaz Naderi and Heda Naseh are actors in alphabetical order.

Other actors of this show include composer Behzad Abdi, set designer Amir Mashadi Abbas, lighting designer Reza Khedraei, poster and brochure designer Reza Mehdizadeh, Atiyeh Javed, Mahdia Ramzanpour, actors Rita Badpa, percussionist Tara Biraghi, photographer Mehdi Arom. Hadi Badpa, assistant director, Esmat Bapiran, stage secretary, Reza Arjamandkhah, technical decorator, Amir Sadra Aisipour, stage manager, Javed Alipour (Pen Studio) made teasers and promotional items, Farzam Shekhari, publicity consultant, and Hamed Gharib, media consultant.
