The book of American cinema’s encounter with Iranian culture and history was unveiled in Sanandaj
According to IRNA, the head of the Kurdistan Art Center said at the unveiling ceremony of this book on Monday: “The Islamic Revolution Art Center has a say in the production of works, and in this regard, we are witnessing the unveiling of the latest published book of the Kurdistan Art Center.”
Amin Moradi added: “Holding this ceremony after a 2-year break due to the coronary condition of the society is a good start to pursue cultural and artistic activities, and it is expected that from now on, by observing health protocols, the ground for growth and prosperity of better activities.” Be provided.

He added: “We have serious shortcomings in the theoretical field of cinema, especially in Kurdistan province, and for this reason, the ground should be provided for writing more books focusing on cinema in this province.”
Nasiri Hanis said: “In this work, a theoretical framework about the goals and policies behind American cinema is well explained, and for this reason, studying it is useful for the audience and one can receive good information about the realities of American cinema.”
The Kurdish writer and filmmaker, stating that the review of 14 films produced about Iran in Hollywood cinema is another good feature of the book, added: It is expected that in future editions on methodology as well as the history of numerous works on The view of Hollywood cinema towards Iran and especially the Middle East region should be discussed more.
Bahman Shayan Soltani, the author of this work, also appreciated the special support of the art field of Kurdistan province in order to publish this work, and said: Research and research works, especially with the focus on cinema, is one of the necessary needs in Kurdistan province.
He continued: “In this book, an attempt has been made to express the facts and behind the scenes of Hollywood cinema in a simple and, of course, understandable language for the general public and in the position of a critic, without any special confrontation.”
