The British steel industry is a hair’s breadth away from collapse

According to the report of Fars News Agency’s International Economic Correspondent, quoted by BBC, the United Kingdom trade union has sent a letter to Grand Shops, the Minister of Trade of this country, demanding immediate attention and government support for the crisis in the steel industry of this country.

This union accuses the British government of not doing enough to support the steel industry and says that the government of this country has caused this industry to reach one step of crisis. The British government has also announced that solving the problem of the steel industry is one of London’s priorities.

Steve Turner, one of the heads of the United union, says: The British steel industry is in crisis because of several problems.

He wrote in the said letter that the reason for the existing problems is the British government’s own actions, which have reduced the competitiveness of British factories in the world markets.

In this letter, Turner emphasized that, according to many experts, the English steel industry is just a hair away from collapse, and this industry has tens of thousands of skilled workers and hundreds of thousands of new workers.

In response to this letter, the spokesperson of the British Ministry of Commerce said that the success of this country’s industry is one of the priorities and the government will continue to cooperate with the industry activists to achieve this goal.

Called; The British Treasury has set aside 300 million pounds to support the country’s steel industry.
