The call for the 16th Marivan International Street Theater Festival was published

Charso Press: Public relations of the General Department of Performing Arts, the invitation of the 16th Marivan International Street Theater Festival by the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Kurdistan Province and the General Department of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in cooperation with the Iranian Performing Arts Association and the support of the Kurdistan Performing Arts Association in order to promote Iran’s street theater and support for the production of theatrical works to be performed outside the usual stages was published, focusing on the works of artists across the country.

The main objectives of this festival are as follows:
– Strengthening hope and increasing social vitality by using the capabilities of performing arts
– Strengthening the motivation of empathy and social participation
– Direct communication with audiences and citizens to convey high human concepts through street theater
– Creating a possibility to exchange new experiences and theater knowledge among the country’s artists

Iranian street theater competition, other performance types, ritual and traditional shows, children’s and youth theater, special section (culture of sacrifice, martyrdom and resistance), international section, inclusive section for people with disabilities and educational workshops and specialized meetings of the 16th International Festival They are considered the street theater of Marivan.

Festival schedule:
– The deadline for uploading the necessary documents for all departments: October 5, 1401
– Announcement of selected shows on 16 Mehr
– Holding a festival from November 9 to 12
