The call for the 35th International Film Festival for Children and Adolescents was published

According to Fars news agency, the 35th International Film Festival for Children and Teenagers in the path of realizing ethics, awareness, hope and efforts to nurture and grow a future-making, committed, faithful and leading generation in 2 competitive and side sections, from 10 to 16 Mehr 1402 That is, it will be held from October 2nd to 8th, 2023 with the participation of Cinema Organization, Farabi Cinema Foundation and Isfahan Municipality.
The invitation for this course of the international festival of films for children and teenagers is as follows:

A) Competitive sector
1. Competition of feature films
The length of the feature films will be at least 75 minutes, and the jury will award the following prizes to the winners;
1) The Golden Butterfly is the best movie
2) The Golden Butterfly is the best animated film
3) Golden Butterfly for Best Director
4) Parvaneh Zarin for best animation director
5) Golden butterfly for the best screenplay
6) Pravaneh Zarin, the best actress
7) Golden Butterfly for the best technical or artistic achievement (Zavon Ghokasian Award)
8) Golden butterfly, the best special prize of the jury
9) Peace Prize (Martyr Behnam Mohammadi)
10) Education Award (Abunsar Farabi)
11) Marketing Award

* The secretary of the festival will present his prize to the director or one of the main actors of the film.
* The jury of children and teenagers also give their prize to the director.

2. Competition of short films (fiction and animation)
The duration of the short films will be at least 3 and at most 20 minutes. The jury will award the following prizes to the winners.
1) Parvaneh Zarin for the best film (producer)
2) Parvaneh Zarin for best director (fictional film)
3) Parvaneh Zarin for best director (animated film)
4) Special jury award
* In this section, the secretary of the festival will present his award to the director or one of the main actors of the film.
* In this section, the jury of children and teenagers will award their prizes to the best short story film and the best animated film to the director of the works.

b) lateral part
1. Festival of festivals
In this section, the participating films will be screened in prestigious domestic and foreign festivals.

2. Review of prominent Iranian or foreign works
*Festival regulations
1) Selection of films, whether Iranian or foreign, is done by the festival staff.
2) Films will be allowed to participate in this course that were not applied in the previous courses.
(Films not accepted in previous courses will not be able to participate in this course.)
3) All films will be classified into 2 age groups: children (5-9 years) and teenagers (10-17 years).
4) It is necessary that the date of making and production of Iranian films is from 1400 AD and foreign films from 2021 AD.
5) Films that have not been screened in Iranian cinemas can be applicants.
6) It is mandatory to submit a copy of the Iranian feature film production license.
7) Taking into account the conditions and requirements of the time, the necessary decisions regarding the details of the festival will be announced by the secretariat.

* Sending films for the festival
1) Applicants must first register in the festival system at www.portal.icff.ir and send a copy of the film in mp4 format on a flash drive or external hard drive to the festival secretariat.
2) It is mandatory to present the personal photo of the director, biography, filmography, some photos from the movie, poster, brochure, pamphlet.
3) Accepted Iranian films will be required to provide a subtitled version (English).
4) The start of registration will be from August 1 to August 31, 1402 (both Iranian and foreign).
5) The deadline for submitting the original version of the accepted film is 30 September 1402.
6) In order to respect the audience, if the final version is not presented on the scheduled date, the festival secretariat will remove the film from all the announced programs.
7) The festival secretariat is responsible for planning the screening of accepted films.
8) Registration and delivery of the film is considered as full acceptance of the rules and regulations for showing the film in Iran.
9) Information is provided only through the public relations of the festival.
10) Interpretation and taking the final decision about unforeseen cases is the responsibility of the festival secretary.

The version of the regulations has been prepared in 3 languages: English, Arabic and Farsi, and in the interpretation and explanation of the laws, the Persian version will be the standard of judgment.
