The call for the first Shabestan Theater Festival was published

According to the public relations report of the coordinating headquarters of cultural and artistic centers of the country’s mosques, the call for the first Shabestan theater festival was published.
The cultural and artistic deputy of the coordination headquarters of the cultural and artistic centers of mosques of the country has organized the “First National Shabestan Theater Festival” in order to expand the various performing arts activities in the country’s mosques.
This festival is held in five main axes, including “Quran stories”, “Ahadith, narrations and moral teachings”, “Prayer, youth and society”, “Religion, technology and today’s world” and “Sacrifice and resistance”.
The main sections of the festival are: general section, children and teenagers, paper theater, creative theater and Mehr section which is special for women and the topics emphasized by the festival are also centered around “serious attention to the precious religious and national heritage of the country”, “production of theatrical works based on religious, cultural, climatic and native characteristics”, “trying to introduce the true face of Iranian Islamic culture to other cultures”, “reflection of the sublime values of the history of the Islamic Revolution and holy defense” and the topic of the mosque and its relationship with “justice and Anti-Corruption”, “Iranian and Islamic Identity”, “Economy and Entrepreneurship”, “Social Responsibility”, “Family Centered and Lifestyle (Hope and Social Vitality)”, “Ethics and Spirituality”, “Sacrifice, Martyrdom and Resistance” ” defined.
According to the announcement of the festival’s secretariat, plays prepared and performed based on the activities and experiences of mosques’ cultural and artistic centers will be specially examined.
The deadline for registration and submission of plays is December 25, and the deadline for uploading video versions of plays for review is December 30, and the final stage and closing of the festival will be held in March 1402.
