The car is not expensive! | Online Economy

According to Eqtesadonline IRNA“Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin” today, Sunday, at the end of his visit to Saipa Automotive Group, told reporters: “Iran’s automotive industry is suitable in terms of manpower capacity and installed infrastructure.”

He added: “Although this industry has many issues and challenges, and in this regard, people and customers should be given the right, but it can be revived and improved.”

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade continued: “In recent months, our initial focus was on the issue of production and increasing production. As production increases, companies turnover occurs, costs fall, component companies move, and quality improvements can be expected.

Fatemi Amin added: “The second point is to move towards product change, because a large part of the poor quality that people mention about cars is due to old platforms in cars such as Tiba, Samand and Peugeot 405, which are not very modifiable.”

He reminded: Iran Khodro this year will replace 80,000 Tara and Saipa 80,000 Shahin vehicles with old products, which are a change of rails and moving towards new vehicles.

The car is not expensive

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: “In the current situation, we have no decision to increase the price of cars and make them more expensive.”

Referring to the two-year plan defined for the automotive industry, Fatemi Amin said: “Automotive industry is a large and important industry that has problems and challenges, but these issues can be solved.”

He stated: “Today, the problem of car production has been solved to a large extent. Last year, there were 70,000 defective cars on the floor of carmakers’ parking lots, and the average direct car crossing in a company like Saipa was only 18%, which caused a lot of problems.

Minister Samat added: “Today, the direct passage of cars from the production line to the market in Iran, Khodro has reached 100% and in Saipa has reached 97%.

Fatemi Amin said: the implementation of other measures in the roadmap of the automotive industry has begun, including the fight against smuggled spare parts, which accounted for 30% of the automotive spare parts market.

He continued: “In other issues, such as product diversity, quality improvement, reform of car manufacturers’ ownership structure, etc., in general, plans have been prepared in 9 areas, and we have also asked car manufacturers to move in this direction.”

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade also said: “From now on, we should focus more on new products. Cars like Tara and Shahin are of good quality, but they have high prices that are not accessible to members of society.” We are trying to produce cars with lower prices in the country.

Regarding the population youth law, Fatemi Amin noted: “This plan has been approved by the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the two major automakers in the country have pledged that it must be implemented in accordance with the law and its work must proceed.”
