The ceiling for housing rent increase in Tehran was set at 25% – Tejaratnews

According to Tejarat News, in the seventh meeting of the Supreme Housing Council, which was held before noon this Sunday with the presence of Ebrahim Raisi, a report on the measures taken regarding the organization of the rental market, the organization and supervision of real estate consultants, the latest status of the implementation of the tax law on empty houses and Also, the performance of banks in providing housing construction facilities was presented.

In this meeting, while complaining about the slowness of the implementation of the plan to organize real estate consultants, the President stressed the need to speed up the implementation of this plan and deal with the violators or unlicensed companies, as well as to amend the law on providing licenses to real estate consultants.

He also emphasized on the implementation of the law on tax on empty houses based on the regulations communicated to the executive bodies, especially in the provinces and by the governors, and said: to speed up the implementation of this law, the exchange of information between different bodies will be effective, and on the other hand, in the implementation process If any part of this law is violated or has problems, it should be reported to the legislator immediately.

Criticizing the discrimination in the provision of facilities by some banks, the President stressed: Organizations and institutions are obliged to use their facilities for the public benefit without any discrimination among the people.

Emphasizing on holding regular meetings of the Housing Council in the provinces – at least twice a month – the governor obliged the governors to account from various institutions in performing the assigned tasks in the field of housing construction.

Criticizing the delay in the transfer of land in some provinces, the president emphasized the need to remove administrative obstacles and asked the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development to prepare and present a report on the amount of land transfer to applicants in different provinces at the next meeting of the Supreme Housing Council.

Referring to the importance of the role of cooperatives in the implementation of the national housing movement plan, he said: Labor, employee and armed forces cooperatives can organize a significant part of housing applicants by using their capacity.

In this meeting, which was held in the form of a video conference with the presence of the governors of 31 provinces of the country, a report was presented on the performance of 10 leading provinces in the implementation of the National Housing Movement Plan, and the President, while praising the officials of these provinces, stated: the performance of the provinces that in any way They were facing a delay in the implementation of this plan, and the relevant governors must be informed so that they can fix the shortcomings of its implementation.

Examining the optimal use of waqf lands and free zones in housing construction, ways to reduce the cost of housing construction using new technologies, as well as examining the progress of the national housing movement plan in the provinces were among the other emphasis of the president in this meeting.

The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development also announced: In the 7th meeting of the Supreme Housing Council chaired by the President, a 25% limit on rent price increases in Tehran and 20% for other cities was determined.
