The CEO of ChatGPT was fired!

According to The Verge, Altman was fired after the OpenAI board determined that he had been consistently dishonest in his communications with the board. Greg Brockman, the president and one of the founders of this company, has also been fired.
The company said in its blog post: “Altman’s dismissal follows a consultative review process by the board of directors, which concluded that he was consistently dishonest in his communications with the board of directors and It hinders its ability to fulfill its responsibilities. “The board no longer has confidence in his ability to continue to lead OpenAI.”
Meera Moratti, chief technology officer, has been named interim CEO. The company will be searching for a permanent CEO replacement.
“I loved my time at OpenAI,” Altman said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “It was transformative for me personally and I hope the world changes a little bit.”
The company’s announcement also stated that Greg Brockman, co-founder and chairman of OpenAI, will also step down as chairman of the board but will remain with the company. Hours after the news broke, Brockman announced his resignation.
Brockman said in another post on X that he and Altman were both informed of their removal from the board on Friday by OpenAI co-founder and chief scientist Ilya Sotskur, who is also a board member. “Sam and I are shocked and saddened by what the board did today,” Brockman wrote.
