According to IRNA, the first meeting of the Athletes Commission was held in the presence of Majid Nairi, Secretary of the Taekwondo Federation, Seyed Mohammad Shabibi, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Hossein Qanuni, Inspector of the Taekwondo Federation, and other members.
The election of the chairman, vice-chairman and representatives of the commission in the general assembly of the federation was on the agenda of this meeting.
“Mohammad Bagheri Motamed” and “Masoud Haji Zavareh” were the candidates for the presidency and “Akram Khodabandeh” and “Ali Salmani” were the candidates for the vice chairman of the Athletes’ Commission.
Mohammad Bagheri Motamed, Kourosh Bakhtiar, Masoud Hajizavareh, Mirhashem Hosseini, Hadi Saei, Ali Salmani, Asghar Azizi, Susan Hajipour, Akram Khodabandeh, Sona Razaghi, Marjan Salhshouri, Mahboubeh Shafizadeh and Atosa Farahmand were the candidates for the General Assembly.
Saei, Haji Zavareh and Hosseini were elected as representatives of the Athletes’ Commission in the General Assembly with 18, 14 and 14 votes in the men’s group, respectively, and Farahmand, Khodabandeh and Hajipour in the women’s group with 17, 16 and 15 votes, respectively. .
The Taekwondo Federation election assembly will also be held on January 6th.
