Apple has been forced to remove the Holy Quran app from the Chinese App Store to comply with Chinese law. This shows that the Chinese government has fundamental problems with Islam!

Apple has recently removed the Holy Quran app from the Chinese App Store. According to Apple, Chinese authorities have forced the company to remove the Holy Quran program, which is used to read or listen to the Quran, from the Chinese App Store. This is if Islam is recognized by the Chinese government.

The reason for removing the Holy Quran app from the Chinese App Store

It is not yet clear what was the reason for removing the Holy Quran app from the Chinese App Store; But the Chinese government seems to have made it out of reach by arguing that the Quran app contains illegal religious texts. The Chinese government has done so in a situation where to date, 35 million people in the world have downloaded and installed the free Holy Quran app created by PDMS.

PDSM has stated that it is trying to bring the app back to the Chinese App Store through a dialogue with China Cyberspace Management. According to PDMS, there are currently one million active participants in the Holy Quran app. Apple has stated that it has been forced to remove the Holy Quran app from the Chinese App Store in order to comply with Chinese law, but it is not clear which Chinese law the app does not comply with.

At present, a large share of Apple’s market belongs to China, which is why Apple has to comply with Chinese laws. In addition to the Quran app, LinkedIn has recently been shut down in China. According to Microsoft, the main reason for this is the strict stance of the Chinese government. With all these interpretations, Apple is forced to continue its operations in China in order to maintain one of its main markets.
