The collection of manuscripts of the Niavaran Palace Library Museum is a hidden treasure



According to the Aria Heritage Report, Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini, a member of the strategic council of the Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex, visited the exhibition of manuscripts of the Holy Quran at the Niavaran Private Library Museum this evening, Tuesday, April 13, 1401, accompanied by Maryam Jalali, the collection’s director.

Hosseini said on the sidelines of the visit: “Perhaps at first glance, the collection of printed books of this museum is considered, while among these printed books, the collection of more than 160 volumes of manuscripts of the library museum is a hidden treasure that even bibliographers, calligraphers “Painters and gilders are less familiar with these works.”

A member of the Strategic Council of the Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex added: “Among the 160 volumes of manuscripts, it can be easily claimed that the number of valuable, distinguished and distinctive works in this collection is not small, and this rich treasure is a good excuse and opportunity for studying research manuscripts.” . “Many of these manuscripts are worth reprinting.”

“Today, museums have shifted to more of their treasures,” he said. “The more valuable objects are displayed and introduced in a collection, the more visitors to that museum.”

The member of the strategic council of this collection then visited the caricature exhibition of the palace-museum of Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex, which includes caricatures of prominent Iranian and foreign artists from the treasures of the museums of this collection and selected works of contemporary cartoonist Javad Alizadeh.
