According to Fars News Agency’s Art and Media Department, Mohammad Mahdi Dadman, the head of the Islamic Revolution Art Department, issued a message on the occasion of the death of “Abd al-Moati Abu Zaid,” the Palestinian painter of the conscious heart. The text of this message is as follows:

“we are for God and we return to him

The powerful hand of committed and familiar artists, the expressive language of their nation and their roles, is the call to express the pain of the people of their time; The pain of the people who, in the words of the poet, Qaiser Aziz, “pain in the folds of their skin, the people whose colors are on their sleeves, the people whose names, the old covers of their birth certificates hurt.”

The late painter, the late Abdul Moati Abu Zeid, was an artist who was aware of the dear land of Palestine, who during more than half a century of his activity, presented lasting and more important and effective works to many young artists and talented students to the resistance front, and despite all the hardships of life In exile, there was not a moment of artistic effort and effort. He realized very early that stability against the usurping enemy, as much as it requires zealous fighters and armed men, it also needs painstaking and creative artists to create a clear picture of tomorrow by summoning the past and expressing today’s issues. and make life meaningful and richer for their people.

With this deep attitude and with the aim of keeping alive the memory of the homeland and the memory of the home, during this half century, he tried to recover the national identity of his people in the form of visual elements and visual signs, and by constantly publishing them in his and his students’ works of art, he tried to Let the demon of forgetfulness stop and prevent the image of the homeland from being forgotten in the minds and souls of the displaced compatriots.

The honor of hosting him in recent days will be a valuable memory for the family of the art field, so that the influential role of the zealous Muslim artist in the bright path of resistance will be revealed more than before. I offer my condolences on the passing away of this creative, militant, patient and humble artist and I ask the Almighty God for his ambitious soul, high heavenly ranks, and for his family and relatives, patience in this tragedy.
