Ghasemi, pointing out that four million housing units are going to be built in this government, and until today we have 1.5 million units under implementation, which we hope will reach two million units by the end of this year.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated: Fars province had a backlog in the field of housing, and with the presence of the Fars governor, these problems were investigated and a serious and good move was started in this direction, and today we are witnessing the construction of more than 40,000 units.

Ghasemi continued: This year’s rent conditions have bothered the people, so the supply should be increased and housing should be produced so that the rents decrease.

He stated: “Our policy is to hand over land to people in the form of villas in cities where we have land, and we also give loans to people to gradually build housing.” Our policy is that wherever it is, we should give at least one floor to the people to meet their needs.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development also mentioned the issue of housing construction in the Bemo Park area and said: With the meetings that were held in the government board and where there is no wild life and the people need to build housing, the owners and the people who own land will be given loans and Facilitation of issuing permits is given to build housing and increase the supply.

Ghasemi continued: In the road sector, efforts are also being made to reduce the traffic load of the Shiraz-Isfahan freeway in six sections this year, and we have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense for the continuation of that. Also, in the matter of railways, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development has given a resolution to organize and strengthen the issue of corridors and railways in the country, because we have 14,000 kilometers of railways, but the main corridors are not connected, and we are looking for the timing of the country’s air sector and rail fleet. . In the last few months, with the economic and transit diplomacy that was carried out, for the first time, Russian trains docked at Shahid Rajaei port.

Ghasemi pointed out: “The condition of our air fleet is not good, and also the life of the train fleet and locomotives is long, and in this regard, a new contract has been signed for renewal.”
