The continuation of “Knife” will be seen for the first time at the Toronto festival

The movie “Knives Out 2” or “Knife” will be screened for the first time at the 2022 Toronto Film Festival.

Charso Press: The second film of “Knives Out” presenting the abilities of detective Benoit Blanc in solving the mystery of murders, this time is seen for the first time in Canada.

The second Knives Out movie, The Glass Onion: The Knives Out Mystery, a sequel to Rian Johnson’s hit Knives Out, will have its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.

The 47th edition of the Toronto Film Festival will be held from September 8 to 18 (17 to 27 September), but the release date of “Knives Out 2” has not yet been determined.

“Knives Out” was also screened for the first time at the Toronto Film Festival 2019, with a story that focused on solving a murder mystery and was inspired by Agatha Christie’s stories, to praise from critics and audiences. The film ended up being a surprise box-office winner, grossing $311 million. The film, which was made at a cost of 40 million dollars, was also nominated for an Oscar in the non-adapted screenplay category for the screenplay written by Johnson himself.

Daniel Craig once again plays the role of detective Benoit Blanc in this film. His performance in the first film, which was played by Christopher Palmer after the mysterious death of the famous writer Harlan Truman on the night of his 85th birthday, met with great acclaim and led to this film finding new sequels.

Although Lionsgate released the first movie in theaters, Netflix became the exclusive owner of the series after buying the rights and paying more than 450 million dollars.

In the second film, detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece to unravel the layers of a mystery with colorful suspects. Edward Norton, Janel Mooney, Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, Kate Hudson and Leslie Odom Jr. are among the actors of this movie.

“Glass Onion” is the title of a 1968 Beatles song, and Paul McCartney used it as a joke about people who put too much emphasis on the band’s lyrics. Fans have theorized that the glass onion is a metaphor for something that is both multi-layered and transparent, thus somewhat proving McCartney’s point.

The Toronto festival returns to its regular physical schedule this year after being held abbreviated last year.
