According to the economic reporter of Fars News Agency, at the same time as the temperature in the country increases, the amount of snow deposits in the whole of Iran has reached the minimum possible in the last one year, and according to satellite statistics, 0.26% of the country’s soil, equivalent to 4300 square kilometers, is now covered with snow.
Meanwhile, in February 1401, about 20% of the area of Iran was covered with snow.
According to satellite data, the highest snow depth recorded in the country belongs to the Zagros range and is 1.89 meters deep.
