The Daily Mail reported the possibility of hijacking a Singaporean airliner

According to IRNA, the Daily Mail wrote that the SQ37 flight to Singapore, shortly after taking off from Los Angeles airport, transmitted the code 7500, which is dedicated to announcing the hijacking of the plane. However, the aircraft does not appear to have changed course.

The Daily Mail added that since the code was no longer transmitted, it is possible that such a message was sent by mistake or due to a technical defect.

No further details have been released.
