The deadline for registering digital currency mining devices in the comprehensive trading system has been announced
According to the announcement of the Iranian Blockchain Association, a new deadline has been set for the registration of miner devices in the comprehensive trade system, and miners with operating licenses, as well as the owners of storage warehouses for this equipment, can register their devices in the first half of January.
Blockchain Association of Iran announced in an announcement that on 9/12/1402, an important meeting was held in accordance with Note 4 of Article 18 of the Law on Combating Goods and Currency Smuggling with the presence of representatives from security and law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Security, the Ministry of Energy and representatives of this association. This headquarters was held regarding the way to deal with the owners of cryptocurrency mining devices, and in this meeting, at the request of the representatives of the association and the assistance of the representative of the headquarters of combating goods and currency smuggling and law enforcement agencies and the cooperation of the Ministry of Privacy, once again the deadline for registering information and receiving a unique ID And the tracking code for exploitation license holders, regardless of whether the equipment is turned off or on, as well as the owners of the mining equipment warehouse, was extended from January 1st to 15th, 1402.
According to the aforementioned law, owners of cryptocurrency mining equipment are required to register and receive unique identifiers and tracking codes for all devices such as domestically produced devices, imported devices, in use, even devices that are switched off in storage from the comprehensive trading system.
In this notice, the Blockchain Association has advised applicants to buy miner devices not to buy any device without a unique ID and tracking code from now on. In addition, any change of ownership or renewal of operating license in the future will require a unique ID and tracking code.
