According to Ekhtaz Online, citing Mizan, following the proceedings of a case with security charges against two defendants who were present with their lawyers in the Tehran Revolution Court, one of the defendants, who was not a prisoner and had come from his home to the court, The court got upset and unfortunately, despite the efforts made, he died.

In this regard, one of the people present in the courtroom said: The defendant who appeared in the court with security charges was defending himself when he became ill. In the presence of four lawyers present in the court, the doctor stationed at the Revolutionary Court came to the defendant’s bedside and medical and therapeutic measures were immediately performed.

He added: “During the treatment and with the call to the emergency center, the emergency workers also came to the person’s bedside, and despite extensive efforts, the accused’s heart stopped working.”

This official of the Tehran Revolutionary Court said: According to the initial opinion of the emergency workers, the cause of death was written as cardiac arrest, but despite this, the body was transferred to the forensic medicine for expert examination and specialized tests.
