The Dimension 8000 will likely be available on the Redmi K50 and the GT Neo3 reel

It hasn’t been long since MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset was introduced, but now a new report mentions a new chipset called the Dimension 8000, which will be used on two phones called the Redmi K50 and the GT Neo3.

Informed source with the username Digital Chat Station on the Chinese social network Weibo announced There are two Redmi and Rilemi mobile phones with a dimension of 8000. The chip has not yet been introduced, but MediaTek has previously said it will launch it at a lower price.

Not much is known about the 8000 dimensionality at this time, but as far as we know, TSMC is making the chip with 5nm lithography. This lithography will be weaker than the 4-nanometer lithography of the 9000 density, but it is more advanced than the densit 1000 with the 6-nanometer process.

Possible Specifications Dimension 8000

MediaTek’s upcoming chipset will use older v8 cores, including four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The graphics processor of this chipset will be Mali-G510 MC6, which is probably twice as fast as the previous generation and consumes 22% less energy. The Dimension 8000 can support Full HD Plus displays with a maximum refresh rate of 168 Hz, QHD + displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 memory.

We expect the Redmi K50 and Riley GT Neo3 to compete with relatively similar specifications. The GT Neo2 movie was introduced in China in late September and hit the European market last month. On the other hand, the Redmi K40 has been on the market for a long time and has been available in Europe since March under the name Poco F3. As a result, we anticipate that the heirs of the two devices will be several months apart.

Given that the Redmi brand manager had previously said that the Redmi K50 will be available with a 9000 dimensionality, we can expect the MediaTek flagship chipset to be available on the Gaming Edition model of this family and a regular model with a 8000D dimensionality.
