According to Fars News Agency, Amir Abdul Hosseini, the Secretary General of the 16th Fajr Visual Arts Festival, issued separate orders to the directors of the three departments “Art Visualization”, “Culture-oriented Design” and “Urban Mural Painting” of this artistic event as follows.

Visualization of art: Saeed Falahfar
Saeed Fallahfar is a photographer, painter and art critic. He is a student of restoration of historical monuments, history of art and has a first degree in art from the Council of Evaluation of Artists of the country. In addition to holding numerous individual and group exhibitions at the national and international levels and authoring various books and articles, Falahfar has experience as a secretary, judge and member of the policy council of various art events, including the Iranian Youth Visual Arts Festival, Tehran Expo, Razavi National Photo Festival, National Festival Vira’s photo also includes Shams-ul-Amara festival and… He was also recognized as the best researcher in the field of culture and art in 2014.

The “Imagination of Art” section includes an exhibition of selected works of artists living in different provinces of the country in order to present the latest achievements of visual arts in each province. Mohammad Zarwi Nasrabad is the director of visual arts center of the Islamic Revolution art field and the CEO of Naam cultural and artistic institute. Urban mural painting: Seyyed Shahabuddin Shakiba
Seyed Shahabuddin Shakiba is the director of the wall painting department of the Tehran City Beautification Organization and also the director of the calligraphy museum. Shakiba’s background includes being a member of the Policy Council of the 7th National Biennial of Iranian Calligraphy, the CEO of the Mahestan Cultural and Art Institute, the director of the galleries of the Islamic Revolution Art Field, the secretary of the Art Works Organizing Council of the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran, the director of Gallery 72, etc.

The “Urban Mural” section is dedicated to the design and implementation of urban walls and does not include the reproduction of paintings by artistic veterans in large dimensions on the wall, as well as the works of contractors and executive groups. In this section, the works executed on the walls of Tehran during the last three years are introduced and exhibited.
