The end of bargaining with people’s lives and property in the production and distribution of contraband and non-standard spare parts

According to Economy Online, Omid Qalibaf, the spokesman of the Ministry of Security, said: It is estimated that 30% of the value of the spare parts market is 13 billion dollars worth of smuggled goods and low-quality products, of which 3 billion dollars is the share of smuggling and 1 billion dollars is the share of non-legal production. It is standard.
Qalibaf stated that this large volume of smuggling and low quality production for a product that deals with people’s lives is not acceptable in any way and stated: One of the priorities of the Ministry of Security in the 13th government is to organize the spare parts market, which after Months of coordination meetings with more than eleven governing bodies and unions and private organizations, in the first step, fifty-three items of spare parts that include eighty percent of the market consumption are required to insert ID and tracking code from August 15th. Previously, batteries and shock absorbers were also included in the product ID and tracking code.
Qalibaf said: For the first time, an interactive-persuasive model has been used to organize one of the most complex markets, and the national media is supposed to fully monitor the spare parts market so that in addition to eliminating the weak points in the implementation, it will also inform the people of its results. dear
He continued: The result of this new model is that a good consensus is created between producers and distributors, which makes the implementation of the project easier.
The spokesman of Samat divided the spare parts available in the market into four groups of illegal smuggling, non-origin, domestic production, and import, and said: the duty of illegal illegal goods is clear, but if in the distribution network, there are goods that We refer to it as “without origin”, the supplier unit, with the approval of the technical committee of the relevant union, has one week to obtain the product ID through the comprehensive trading system.
Qalibaf mentioned the second step of organizing the spare parts market including 150 items, which will begin after the completion of the first step.
He said that on the other side of the coin, eliminating the smuggling of spare parts is giving a market worth 4 billion dollars to the parts makers, which should be used well.
At the same time, he said; Another major goal of organizing the spare parts market is to update the standards, because due to the lack of transparency in this market, sometimes the standards have not been updated for 50 years, and this problem, in addition to problems in the safety of vehicles, also affects air pollution.
Sammat’s spokesperson predicted that the spare parts market will witness a fundamental transformation at the level of supply and will change from the current traditional form to new and monitorable methods such as spare parts hypermarkets or sales through virtual networks.
Qalibaf, recalling the wear and tear of vehicles, said that it is estimated that 3.5 million cars and more than 9 million motorcycles are in the condition of being scrapped, which are currently being used, and the monitoring of the spare parts market will help this sector, until the incentive mechanisms for scrapping are reached. will do.
Pointing out that consumers can also ensure the purchase of their goods through the authentication system, he said; Without the support of consumers, it is not possible to remove non-standard spare parts and smuggling, and therefore the Ministry of Safety requests all consumers of spare parts to make their purchases from reputable stores and spare parts with identification.
