According to Tejarat News, today the total stock market index resisted the fall with a growth of 1,229 units. In this way, the main indicator of the market stood at two million 480 thousand 639 units with a slight increase of 0.05%.
The equal-weight index had a more favorable trend, which showed that traders’ attention was drawn to small and medium-sized symbols. Based on this, today the equal weight index increased by eight thousand and 435 units, equivalent to 1.03 percent, and stood at 824 thousand and 962 units.
Free floating and second market indices rose by 0.20% and 0.35% respectively. While the first market index retreated by 0.19%.
Stock market performance
Today, the Tehran Stock Exchange witnessed transactions worth 16,386 billion tomans. In this market, symbols of Fars, Vepars, Hekshti, and Mohamal had the most positive effect, and symbols of Kegel, Shepdis, and Femli had the most negative effect on the total index.
Meanwhile, Khodro, Shasta, Khasapa, Foulad, Vakghdir, Thabesaz and Petrol were the most traded stock symbols.
OTC performance
Today, the over-the-counter market was facing the growth of the total index. The index of this market increased by 191 units and reached a height of 31 thousand 145 units.
In this market, the symbols of Vespehr, Hormoz, Saba and Goldira had the most positive effect and the symbols of Aria, Fajhan and Shegoya had the most negative effect on the total index.
Meanwhile, Goldira, Kerman, Frabourse, Kausar, Khavar, Gedna, and Bapaywand were the most traded symbols of the exchange. Today, the foreign exchange witnessed transactions worth 247 thousand 126 billion tomans, of which only 6 thousand 120 billion tomans were allocated to stock transactions.
The value of retail transactions
Today, the value of small market transactions reached the level of 20 thousand billion tomans, which accounts for eight percent of the total market transactions. Of course, this number decreased slightly compared to the previous day, but it is still at a promising level.
Today, 670 billion Tomans were also changed from legal to real ownership. This figure has decreased by about 50% compared to yesterday’s transactions.
However, there is good news from the market; The state of companies is relatively good, the parliament has approved a new tax law that benefits the capital market, and many symbols still have a lot of room for growth, especially until the assembly season.
