Regarding the cooperation between the government and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, he said: the field of tourism has a very large economic, cultural and social capacity, and according to the types of tourism that are defined today, such as spiritual, religious, agricultural tourism, etc. There are capacities in our Iran. In addition, there is good cooperation between our governors in all parts of the country and our loved ones in handicrafts and tourism, which can take tourism forward by leaps and bounds, because currently our existing capacities are different from what is there.
He continued: “On the horizon of the year 1401, our forecast was that we would be able to have nearly 20 million tourists in the country, but now we are far from this number, and we must try to reduce this gap.”
The Minister of Interior said about the government’s plans for Nowruz 1402 trips: I hope the people of Iran will have a good Nowruz next year and that nature’s heavenly gifts will bring beauty to the people. Our people like to travel and this travel and seeing new places helps our social cohesion and creates a good economy for us and I hope they will create safe and low-risk trips for themselves and their families by observing all the principles of travel and guidance and driving.
