The European Union sanctions 7 IRGC-affiliated institutions – Mehr News Agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, citing Axios, two European Union officials say that the European Union intends to put another number of institutions related to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the sanctions list under the alleged pretext of sending Iranian drones to Russia.

The Axios website quoted European Union officials as saying that the European Union is expected to sanction seven entities related to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which, according to the union, are involved in delivering drones to Russia for the war against Ukraine.

A senior official of the European Union, regardless of Brussels’ warmongers in Ukraine, claimed that Iran’s arms support to Russia added to the European Union’s concerns. According to Axios, the IRGC has been in the spotlight more than before and now a real change of mindset has taken place in this regard, despite the fact that until recently, most of the European Union’s focus was on Iran’s nuclear program. Not the military activity of the Revolutionary Guards.

Axios wrote, quoting informed European officials, that the decision to sanction IRGC-affiliated institutions could be announced this week. A senior official of the European Union, who did not want to be named, said: The package of new IRGC sanctions was officially presented on Wednesday at the meeting of the European Commission with the ambassadors of the European Union.

By Axios The Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps is one of the institutions that are going to be sanctioned on the false claim of delivering drones to Russia and training Russian operators. The IRGC Research and Self-Sufficiency Organization is another institution that will be included in the European sanctions list.

Our two top flight companies, Pravar Pars Company, Quds Aviation Industries and Shahid Aviation Industries are among the other organizations that will be sanctioned according to Axios.

These claims are made while the Islamic Republic has denied sending any drone to Russia in the midst of the war in Ukraine. And on the opposite side, Europe and other western allies are the ones who, in addition to starting the war in Ukraine by flooding this country with their military weapons, are preventing the establishment of a ceasefire between Kiev and Moscow.
