According to the economic reporter of Fars news agency, Alireza Mohajer added today on the sidelines of the first national congress of agricultural jihad centers: We believe that both the price of currency and the price of other products will decrease in the country, these are temporary conditions that we are going through.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture Affairs of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad added: Despite the cruel sanctions, the country’s reserves are sufficient in terms of basic goods and products such as tomatoes, onions and potatoes, and we do not have any restrictions in terms of supply.

* The price of onions will decrease next week

Mohajer also announced the decrease in the price of onions next week and said: The increase in price was due to exports and the decrease in cultivation this year was due to the cheapness of onions last year.

He emphasized that the export of onion was not limited in time, but now by controlling the export of this product, we hope that the price will decrease next week.

* Prediction of wheat production more than last year

The deputy of agriculture affairs of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, stating that wheat cultivation has been done in an area of ​​5 million and 900 thousand hectares in the provinces of the country, said: Northern and northwestern provinces of the country such as Ardabil, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Zanjan, Kermanshah, Qazvin are suffering from drought. were facing more than the previous years, the rest of the provinces had the same or even more rainfall compared to the previous year.

He emphasized that the rains in May are very decisive and if we have good rains, we will definitely have more production than last year.

* One million and 300 thousand hectares of wheat under contract cultivation

Mohajer announced the contract cultivation of one million and 300 thousand tons of wheat in the country and said: We hope that we will have a better situation next year with the implementation of the model cultivation plan.

He also informed about the plan to increase the production in the drylands and the implementation of a plan with the help of the executive headquarters of the order of the Imam and said: This plan is at the level of 4 million and 200 thousand hectares, 90% of which has been realized, the emphasis of this plan is mainly for livestock feed.
