The explanation of the director of the Chaghazanbil World Heritage Site regarding the outskirts of Chaghazanbil these days/theft of bricks with inscriptions on Chaghazanbil is untrue.

Following the publication of news about the “theft” of the bricks with inscriptions of the Chaghazanbil World Heritage Complex, this morning Mohammad Hossein Aristozadeh, the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khuzestan province, visited this site.
In this visit, the issue of the unsuccessful attack on a part of the wall on the southwest side of Chaghazanbil in the past weeks was investigated.
During this visit, any suspicion of theft of bricks with inscriptions was rejected. With these interpretations, Atefeh Reshnoui says that he has increased the security measures around this global base with the help of the security unit and police forces.
