The failure of the US effort to isolate Iran by completing the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul railway

According to a reporter of Fars News Agency’s International Economics Group, quoted by Kashmir ObserverDuring the past few days, the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul railway line was put into operation with the presence of officials of the three countries after 10 years of efforts. This 6540 km long railway line connects Islamabad to Istanbul by passing through Iran.
The advantage of using this railway line is that it reduces the time of freight from Pakistan to Turkey from 21 days by sea to about 10 days.
Yesterday, the first train with a consignment of rice, dates and pink salt left Islamabad for Istanbul. 1990 km of this railway line is located in Pakistan and another 2603 km is located in Iran.
The first steps taken by the three countries to launch the railway date back to 2009, but since then progress has been very slow.
The line is part of China’s “One Road, One Belt” project, and Pakistan’s Railways Minister says it was one of the three countries’ lofty goals.
The United States has long pursued a policy of maximum pressure on Iran to isolate our country in all areas of trade, but now it seems practically impossible to isolate Iran and prevent our trade with our neighbors.
