The Fairphone 4 was introduced with a modular design and a 5-year warranty

The Dutch company Fairphone unveiled its latest smartphone with support for 5G network, 48-megapixel dual camera and a repairability score of 9.2 out of 10 in the French repairability index. The Fairphone 4 is a modular phone made from recycled materials that can be easily repaired.
Since we are dealing with a modular device, you can easily replace its parts yourself. These parts can be purchased through Fairphone, for example, a battery priced at € 29.95, a dual main camera priced at € 79.95 and a selfie camera priced at € 29.95.
The Fairphone 4 will receive the two main versions of Android and will be supported by software until 2025. This device supports IP54 and MIL810G standards. On the front of the smartphone is a 6.3-inch LCD display with full HD resolution, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
At the top of the screen is a drop cut that hosts a 25-megapixel selfie camera. There is a fingerprint sensor on the frame of this device and inside the power button.
On the back panel of this product is a dual camera with 48-megapixel sensors, the first sensor uses optical image stabilization and the second camera is ultra-wide. In addition to these cameras, we see the use of ToF cameras, autofocus and color sensors.
The Fairphone 4 comes in versions with 8.6 GB of RAM and 128.256 GB of internal storage, but more space can be accessed through the memory card. Fairphone for this product has the default operating system of Android 11 and Snapdragon 750G chip.
The battery capacity of this device is 3905 mAh, which also supports 20-watt fast charging technology. Fairphone does not put a charger or cable in the box to reduce electronic waste, and of course it does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The company has planned a € 99.95 wireless airbag for buyers of this smartphone.
The base price of this device with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory is 579 Euros, and in the highest version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, it is priced at 649 Euros. The smartphone will be launched in Europe later this month.
