The festival of tribes and sapling planting was held in “Gedarchiti” tourist village of Omidiyeh

According to the Arya Heritage report, quoting from the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khuzestan, Sadegh Sheikhi, on the 9th of March 1401, while appreciating the combination of the governorship, district administration and natural resources in cooperation to create vitality and prosperity, said: Considering that these days coincide with the holidays of Shabaniyah and Taqaran Nowruz days are with the holy month of Ramadan and also the beginning of early travel, all institutions and organizations should take action to hold related cultural and religious ceremonies.

The head of Omidiye Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department further added: the cultural program was held in the form of holding local music and dances of the tribes and showing handicraft products and products of nomads and related customs.

He stated: Considering the importance of planting saplings and tree planting in Iranian and Islamic culture, the culture of planting saplings is always tried to be done with the help and planning of natural resources, and in this regard, 200 saplings were planted in the Godarchite forests where the ceremony was held.

Sheikhi said: In the following, according to the presence of Jamal Ameri Nasab, Deputy Director General of Tourism of Khuzestan Cultural Heritage, as well as Amin Khavarimehr, Central District Governor of Omidiyeh and other officials, good negotiations were held with Amin Amrai, Director of Maroon Petrochemical, in order to help in the development of tourism and the creation of infrastructure in Godar village.
