The fifth day of the presence of puppets in Teatarshahr


According to Fars News Agency’s theater reporter, on the fifth day of the 19th International Puppet Show Festival (Monday, July 12th), five shows will be performed in the stage section and five works will be performed in the outdoor section.

* International section

“Swan Lake” written and directed by Samson Moussian from Armenia with a duration of 45 minutes will be staged in two shifts at 17:00 and 19:00 in the Qashqai Hall of the City Theater Complex.

*Iranian stage shows

“Shoaf” written and directed by Kaveh Mahdavi from Tehran, with a duration of 35 minutes, will be performed in two times at 18:00 and 20:00 at Chaharso Hall of Shahr Theater Complex.

Kaveh Mahdavi, the writer and theater director, who is present in this edition of Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Shows Festival with the show “Shoaf”, said about this play: “I first saw it in the 17th edition of Tehran-Mubarak Festival, which was organized by Marzieh Broumand, with I attended the show “Jeek Jeeke Baqaf”. In this period, I will perform the show “Shoaf” in the adult section, which has a fantasy atmosphere.”

This director and theater teacher said about the story of the show: “Shoaf” is the story of a man who walks on the street, but no one pays attention to him, but he looks at everyone. This man enters a barbershop and after leaving, we see that his hair has turned red and he has a strange appearance. This is where he draws all the attention to himself and now he is the one who doesn’t care about anyone. Until, while crossing the street, a car brakes in front of him, but he ignores it, but he turns back and sees that no one sees him. Next, we have a flashback to find out what the story is about and what the audience didn’t see from the beginning.

“iTech” written and directed by Fatemeh Barmal from Ardabil will be staged in two sessions of the 17th and 19th in the workshop of the Shahr Theater Complex with a duration of 40 minutes.

The author and director of the “iTech” puppet show said that this show indirectly teaches children to avoid some wrong and wrong behaviors.

Fatemeh Bermal, the director of this play, said: “iTech” tries to use the language of the show to distance children from behaviors such as stubbornness and selfishness and guide them towards correct behaviors that are acceptable to parents with stories.

He stated: “The ITech show shows today’s problems between children that cause problems for parents in raising them, and indirectly informs children about these bad characteristics that cause harassment to adults.”

“Green-Blue” written by Reza Faqihi and directed by Marjan Khorsand from Tehran will be performed for 40 minutes at 18:00 and 20:00 in the large hall of Molavi Hall.

“Little Black Fish” written by Nasrin Khanjari and directed by Hojjat Hashemi from Tehran will be hosted by fans for 45 minutes at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM in the Golestan Hall of the Intellectual Development Center for Children and Adolescents.

* Shows in the outdoor sector

In the outdoor shows section of the 19th Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival, five shows of “Bargah Salim Khan” written and directed by Zahra Amini Alavijah from Tehran at 6:30 p.m., “The Story of My Herd” written and directed by Amir Mohammad Insafi at 7 p.m. “Hunter” written and directed by Leila Begund from Tehran at 7:30 p.m., the show “Giant Bakhtiari Musicians” written and directed by Mohsen Akrami Qavami at 8 p.m. Atefeh Naqvi from Isfahan will host the fans at 20:30 at the Shahr Theater complex.

The 19th International Festival of Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Show, directed by Hadi Hejazifar, is being held from the 8th to the 17th of July.
